Privacy Policy for BBVPN
Last Updated: September 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BBVPN LLC ("BBVPN", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the BBVPN mobile application, our VPN services, and related support services.
Privacy is a core part of BBVPN. We operate a strict no-logs policy for VPN activity. We do not log or store your browsing history, DNS queries, traffic destinations, or the content of your internet traffic.
1. VPN Data We Do Not Log
BBVPN does not create or maintain activity logs that can be used to identify what you do while connected to the VPN service.
In particular, we do not log or store:
- Your browsing history.
- Your DNS queries.
- The websites, services, or IP addresses you access through the VPN.
- The content of your internet traffic.
- Your VPN traffic destinations.
- Your originating IP address as part of VPN activity logs.
- Connection timestamps linked to an individual user.
- VPN session duration linked to an individual user.
- Bandwidth usage linked to an individual user.
Like any internet service, a VPN server necessarily receives network information required to establish and maintain an active VPN connection. Such information is processed only as technically necessary to provide the connection and is not stored by BBVPN as an activity log.
BBVPN does not sell, monetize, use for advertising, or disclose to third parties any browsing history, DNS queries, VPN traffic content, traffic destinations, or other information collected from or derived from a user's VPN traffic.
2. No Registration Required
BBVPN does not require you to create a BBVPN account or provide your name, email address, phone number, or other contact information in order to use the VPN service.
Information may still be processed by platform providers, analytics services, crash reporting services, or advertising providers as described in this Privacy Policy.
3. Information We May Process
Although BBVPN does not log VPN activity, limited technical, analytics, diagnostic, purchase, support, and advertising-related information may be processed in order to operate the application, maintain service reliability, understand application usage, provide customer support, process purchases, and support the free advertising-funded version of BBVPN.
3.1 App Analytics
BBVPN uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the application is used and to improve its functionality, reliability, and user experience.
Depending on the platform, SDK configuration, privacy choices, and application functionality, analytics information may include:
- Application events and interactions.
- Application launches and sessions.
- Features or screens used within the application.
- App version and operating system information.
- Device type and general device characteristics.
- Language, region, and other general technical characteristics.
- App or installation identifiers used by the analytics service.
- Other technical and usage information associated with application performance and interaction.
We use this information to understand how BBVPN is used, identify problems, evaluate application features, and improve the application and service.
BBVPN does not provide Google Analytics for Firebase with your browsing history, DNS queries, VPN traffic content, VPN traffic destinations, or a record of websites or online services you access through the VPN.
3.2 Crash Reports and Diagnostics
BBVPN uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect crashes, investigate technical problems, and improve application stability.
Crashlytics may process information such as:
- Crash reports and stack traces.
- Relevant application state at the time of a crash or error.
- Device model and operating system information.
- App version and technical configuration.
- Diagnostic and performance information.
- Developer-defined diagnostic logs or information where used.
- Breadcrumb information about application events occurring shortly before a crash when Crashlytics is used together with Firebase Analytics.
This information is used to identify crashes, diagnose technical problems, and improve the stability and reliability of BBVPN.
Firebase Crashlytics is not provided by BBVPN with your browsing history, DNS queries, VPN traffic content, or VPN traffic destinations.
3.3 VPN Server Load and Service Performance
BBVPN may process aggregated operational information about its VPN infrastructure, including:
- The number of active connections to a VPN server.
- Server load.
- Aggregate bandwidth utilization.
- Server availability and performance.
- Technical errors and infrastructure health information.
This information is used to maintain service availability, balance server capacity, detect technical problems, and improve VPN performance.
We do not use this information to create a history of an individual user's VPN activity.
3.4 Subscription and Purchase Information
If you purchase a BBVPN subscription, premium service, or other paid feature through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable app store processes your payment.
BBVPN does not receive or store your full payment card details.
We may receive or process limited purchase-related information necessary to verify and manage purchases or subscriptions, such as:
- The product or subscription purchased.
- Subscription or entitlement status.
- Purchase, renewal, and expiration information.
- Transaction, purchase, or receipt identifiers.
This information is used to verify purchases, provide purchased features, restore purchases, and manage subscription entitlements.
3.5 Customer Support Information
If you contact BBVPN customer support, we receive information that you voluntarily provide in your communication.
This may include:
- Your email address.
- The content of your message.
- Screenshots or screen recordings you choose to provide.
- Device or application information you choose to provide.
- Diagnostic information you voluntarily send to us.
We use this information to respond to your request, investigate technical problems, provide customer support, and improve BBVPN.
4. Advertising in the Free Version
The free version of BBVPN is supported by advertising. Advertising helps fund our VPN infrastructure and allows us to provide a free version of the service.
BBVPN currently uses:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK for advertising, mediation, advertising measurement, and related advertising functionality.
- Meta Audience Network as an advertising provider available through AdMob Mediation.
Advertising services are separate from BBVPN's VPN traffic processing.
BBVPN does not provide Google, Meta, or other advertising providers with:
- Your browsing history through BBVPN.
- Your DNS queries.
- The content of your VPN traffic.
- Your VPN traffic destinations.
- A list of websites or online services you access through the VPN.
BBVPN does not use information derived from your VPN traffic to select, personalize, measure, or target advertisements.
4.1 Advertising-Related Information
The third-party advertising SDKs integrated into BBVPN may independently process limited app, device, and advertising-related information required to deliver, secure, measure, and operate advertising.
Depending on your device, operating system, region, privacy choices, consent status, advertising configuration, and advertising provider, such information may include:
- IP address, which may be used by an advertising provider to determine an approximate geographic location.
- Device, app, installation, or advertising identifiers where permitted.
- Information about advertisements displayed to you.
- Interactions with advertisements.
- Application interaction information associated with advertising functionality.
- Crash and diagnostic information.
- Application and advertising performance information.
- Technical information used for ad delivery, security, abuse prevention, and fraud prevention.
Advertising-related processing does not include access provided by BBVPN to the content or destinations of your VPN traffic.
4.2 Personalized Advertising
BBVPN does not use your VPN traffic or browsing activity to build advertising profiles or personalize advertisements.
Advertising providers may personalize advertising using advertising-related information where permitted by applicable law, platform requirements, your device settings, and your consent or privacy choices.
Where personalized advertising is not permitted or the required consent has not been provided, advertising providers may use non-personalized, limited, or other privacy-restricted advertising modes as applicable.
4.3 Apple App Tracking Transparency
On iOS and iPadOS, access to Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) and tracking across apps or websites owned by other companies is subject to Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
If BBVPN requests tracking permission, Apple displays a system permission prompt before tracking that requires permission can occur.
If you decline tracking permission, BBVPN respects that choice and does not receive permission from iOS or iPadOS to access the IDFA for tracking purposes.
Declining tracking permission does not prevent you from using BBVPN's VPN service.
5. Third-Party Services
BBVPN uses a limited number of third-party services to operate, analyze, distribute, support, and monetize the application.
These services include:
- Google Analytics for Firebase — for application usage analytics and measurement.
- Firebase Crashlytics — for crash reporting, diagnostics, and application stability monitoring.
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK — for advertising, mediation, advertising measurement, and related functionality.
- Meta Audience Network — as an advertising provider through AdMob Mediation.
- Apple App Store — for application distribution and applicable purchases or subscriptions on Apple devices.
- Google Play — for application distribution and applicable purchases or subscriptions on Android devices.
These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies, contractual terms, platform requirements, and applicable law.
BBVPN does not provide these third-party services with browsing history, DNS queries, VPN traffic content, VPN traffic destinations, or a record of websites or online services accessed through the BBVPN VPN service.
Third-party analytics, diagnostics, advertising, and platform services may independently process limited technical, device, usage, purchase, or advertising-related information as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.
6. How We Use Information
The limited information described in this Privacy Policy may be processed for purposes including:
- Providing and maintaining the BBVPN application and VPN service.
- Maintaining VPN server availability and performance.
- Understanding how the BBVPN application is used.
- Improving application functionality and user experience.
- Detecting, diagnosing, and resolving crashes, bugs, and technical problems.
- Protecting the application and infrastructure against abuse, fraud, and security threats.
- Verifying and managing purchases, subscriptions, and entitlements.
- Responding to customer support requests.
- Displaying, delivering, measuring, and securing advertisements in the free version of BBVPN.
- Complying with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your VPN traffic or browsing activity to build advertising profiles, personalize advertisements, or sell information about your online activity.
7. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis for processing personal information, the legal basis depends on the type of information and the purpose for which it is processed.
Depending on the circumstances, processing may be based on:
- Performance of a service or contract — where processing is necessary to provide BBVPN, maintain a VPN connection, or provide purchased functionality.
- Legitimate interests — where permitted, for purposes such as application security, infrastructure security, fraud prevention, diagnostics, service reliability, and improvement of BBVPN.
- Consent — where required for advertising, tracking, analytics, local storage, or other processing that requires consent under applicable law or platform rules.
- Legal obligations — where processing is necessary to comply with applicable laws or lawful requirements.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent as permitted by applicable law.
8. Privacy Choices and Consent
Depending on your device, operating system, region, and applicable law, you may have controls relating to advertising, tracking, analytics, or other data processing.
These may include:
- Consent choices displayed within BBVPN.
- Apple App Tracking Transparency choices.
- iOS and iPadOS privacy settings.
- Android privacy and advertising settings.
- Advertising consent or privacy controls provided in connection with our advertising services.
Where consent is legally required for a particular type of processing, BBVPN and its service providers apply the applicable consent and privacy controls.
Withdrawing or declining consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before the consent was withdrawn and does not prevent processing that is permitted on another lawful basis.
9. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
BBVPN does not sell, monetize, disclose, or use information derived from your VPN traffic for advertising.
BBVPN does not receive monetary payment in exchange for your browsing history, VPN activity, or other information derived from your VPN traffic.
Advertising SDKs may process or disclose certain device, identifier, interaction, or advertising-related information for advertising purposes as described in this Privacy Policy.
Some privacy laws may define certain advertising-related disclosures as a "sale", "sharing", "targeted advertising", or similar activity even when no money is paid in exchange for the information.
Where such laws apply, BBVPN provides or respects applicable consent, opt-out, and privacy rights as required by law.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
Because BBVPN does not maintain VPN activity logs, there are no browsing history, DNS query, VPN traffic destination, or VPN traffic content logs associated with individual users for BBVPN to retain or delete.
Other limited information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, including providing the service, maintaining security, resolving technical issues, analyzing application performance, managing purchases, responding to support requests, preventing fraud or abuse, and complying with legal obligations.
Customer support communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain appropriate support history, protect against abuse, and comply with applicable legal requirements.
Purchase and transaction-related information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to verify entitlements and comply with applicable accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations.
Analytics, advertising, diagnostics, and other information independently processed by third-party service providers is subject to the applicable provider's retention practices and privacy terms.
You may request deletion of personal information held directly by BBVPN by contacting us at support@bbvpn.net.
Because BBVPN does not require a user account and does not maintain VPN activity logs, in many cases we may not possess information that allows us to identify or associate stored information with a particular VPN user.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may provide rights concerning your personal information.
These rights may include the right to:
- Request access to personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Request deletion of personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Request portability of certain information where applicable.
- Opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing activities where provided by applicable law.
- Lodge a complaint with an applicable data protection authority.
To exercise a privacy right relating to information controlled directly by BBVPN, contact us at support@bbvpn.net.
We may need to verify a request where reasonably necessary or required by law.
Because BBVPN does not require registration and does not maintain VPN activity logs, we may be unable to associate VPN usage with a particular individual.
12. Data Security
BBVPN uses appropriate technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information under our control against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
Access to BBVPN infrastructure is restricted, and communications with our services use appropriate encrypted connections where applicable.
No method of electronic transmission, processing, or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore continually work to maintain and improve appropriate safeguards for BBVPN systems and services.
13. International Processing
BBVPN operates VPN infrastructure in multiple countries, and third-party service providers supporting the application may process information in different jurisdictions.
As a result, limited information described in this Privacy Policy may be processed in countries other than the country in which you reside.
Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers of personal information.
The location of a VPN server selected by a user does not change BBVPN's no-logs policy regarding VPN activity.
14. Children's Privacy
BBVPN is not intended for use by children in circumstances where the processing of their personal information would require parental or guardian consent under applicable law unless such consent has been validly obtained.
We do not knowingly use VPN traffic or browsing activity belonging to children for advertising or profiling.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information directly to BBVPN in circumstances where parental or guardian consent was legally required, please contact us at support@bbvpn.net so that we can review the matter and, where appropriate, delete the information.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, third-party integrations, legal obligations, or privacy practices change.
When we update this Privacy Policy, we will publish the revised version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date above.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
